Description
Hydroflex is a thin-walll tape with emitters spaced at 11, 22 and 32 cm. Manufactured with high-quality resins, resistant to UV rays and to chemlcal products such as fertilisers and micro-elements.
Hydroflex ensures an uniform distribution of water and it is particularly suitable in irrigating vegetable crops, orchards and flowers both on open fields and in hot-houses. A correct use of Hydroflex improves the agronomic techniques:
- higher yeld of the cultures
- better quality of the crops
- better irrigation efficiency owing to a good uniformity (Cv < 0,025)
- saving on water and energy costs
- reduction of the weeds development
- easy use of chemicals for fertigation
FILTRATION
Filtration of the water is mandatory for a correct working of Hydroflex . A suitable filtration system is required, tailored to the quality of the water; according to the situation the filtration system can be composed by: hydro-cyclones, fine quartz filters, disk filters, mesch filters. It is highly recommended a filtration degree to 150 mesh (100 micron). For futher information on the most suitable system please contact our Sales Dept.
FERTIGATION
Any chemilcal fertiliser can be used with Hydroflex provided it is soluble in water and is injeected before the filtration system. In case of doubt it is advisable to ask advice of technical consultants. After the fertilization please make sure that all residuals are eliminated with a proper flush of the network.
FEATURES
The curent design of the labyrinth of the Hydrifkex tape has a peculiar geometry that creates turbulences inside the channels. A correct turbulence is essential in eliminating the micro-elements that tend to accumulate around the corners, reducing the flow and causing clogging of the channels during time. Many other tapes use the standard design with parallel-sides labyrinth, with smoother flowing of water but without the self-cleaning effect.
The new design of the Hydroflex labyrinth allows an optimal pressure drop even with relatively long distances.
